Rushville, IL - Pearl B. DeMoss, 86, of Rushville died at 12:25 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 1992, at the Snyder-Vaughn Haven Nursing Home in Rushville.

Born Aug. 27, 1906, in Readsville, Mo., to James Haywood and Martha Ann Perry Lindsey, she married Clarence Edwin DeMoss on Feb. 11, 1924, in Virginia, Ill. He died Oct. 17, 1964.

Two infant sons, five brothers, seven sisters, two half-brothers and one half-sister also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Merle (Mildred) Terry of Brooklyn and Barbara Billups of Henderson; three sons, Ronald E. of Rushville, Edwin of Plano, Texas, and Dennis W. of Springfield; two sisters, Florence Thurman and Onie Brown, both of Beardstown; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren.

She was a nurse's aide at Hill's Nursing Home in Rushville for many years before retiring.

Burial will be in Rushville City Cemetery.
