Barbara Ann (Moore) Gill, 83, passed from this life on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 6:30pm, in her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Barbara was born in Murphysboro, Illinois on December 30, 1939. She married the love of her life William Ray Gill on September 1, 1956 and together they had 4 children William Ray (Billy) Gill Jr, Lloyd Lafayette (Larry) Gill, Deborah Ann (Debbie) Gill and Michael Paul (Mick) Gill.
She attended John A. Logan college in Southern Illinois for 2 years. Barbara worked at the State of Oklahoma for over 20 years and retired on September 1, 2008.
Barbara attended Tulsa Lighthouse Church, (formerly known as New Life Pentecostal Church) since its inception. She was faithful to her God, her church and her Pastor for over 43 years. She taught Sunday School for 31+ years when she retired due to mobility issues. She loved being involved in her church and loved her church family. She was also involved in supporting missionaries and often wrote letters to many of them. She enjoyed reading, crafts, painting, traveling and spending time with her family.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Franklin Moore and Beatrice Mae (Hobbs) Moore, husband William Ray Gill, brothers Norman Moore, Donald Moore and Glendell Moore, and son William Ray (Billy) Gill Jr.
Barbara is survived by son Lloyd Lafayette (Larry) Gill and wife Nadine of Okesa, OK, daughter Deborah (Debbie) Gill Henry of New Haven, Indiana, Michael Paul (Mick) Gill and wife Crystal of Tulsa, OK. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren - Rachael, Alyssa, Caleb, Miranda, Logan, Abigail, Canaan, Hannah, Anna, Kelsi, Kilah and James. Barbara also had 11 great grandchildren - Chase, Sterling, Paysia, Kayden, Claire, Kirsten, Cassie, Kendall, Judah, Jasper and Harper. In February 2023, Barbara's first great great granddaughter, Willow, was born. She loved her family.
