Mrs. Irene West Jones, age 69 of Fourmile was born in Bell County, KY on February 15, 1954 to the late Belvin and Marie Webb West and departed this life on August 3, 2023 at home with her family.
She was a member of Fourmile Pentecostal Church and enjoyed going to Church, fishing, watching Comedies on TV, and time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents: Belvin and Marie West; 3 sisters: Rhonda Widner, Brenda Smith, and Linda Tuttle West; and 3 brothers: James Sonny West, Tom West, and Arnold West preceded her in death.
Irene is survived by her loving husband of over 47 years: Earl Jones of Fourmile; her adoring children: William Earl Jones and Hannah Marie Jones both of Fourmile; 2 brothers: Roger West and Berlin West both of Flat Lick; 2 sisters: Katherine West of Straight Creek, and Bobby Payne of Tensley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Irene Jones will be conducted in the Hammons Cemetery on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dustin Wilder officiating. Burial will follow with Bo Saylor, Lonnie Lewis, Jacob Saylor, Cecil Jackson, Billy Black, and Lionel Jones serving as pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home on Monday from 12Noon to 1:45 PM.∼
