Mr. Kenneth E. "Kenny" Burkhardt, age 86, of Milton, Kentucky, entered this life on September 26, 1936 in Trimble County, Kentucky. He was the loving son of the late Kenneth W. and Gladys Melvina Jones Burkhardt. He lived in Trimble County all of his life and graduated in 1954 from the first graduating class of Trimble County High School. He was united in marriage to Reva M. Andrew on May 22, 1954 at the Mt. Byrd Christian Church in Milton, Kentucky. This happy union of 69 years was blessed with sons, Terry, Thomas, Harold and a daughter, Tia. He was a self-employed farmer all of his entire life and was proud to be a third generation farmer of the family farm. He loved the outdoors and had been a 51 year member of the Burley Tobacco Auction Service. He was an avid fisherman and was a member of the Mt. Byrd Christian Church in Milton, Kentucky. Kenny was a former chairman of the board for the Southern States Co-op. He loved spending time with his family. Kenny died on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 2:19 p.m. at the Bedford Springs in Bedford, Kentucky after a 20 year battle with Parkinson's disease.

Kenny will be missed by his loving wife of 69 years, Reva M. Andrew Burkhardt of Milton, Kentucky; his sons, Terry Burkhardt and his wife Barbara of Bedford, Kentucky, Thomas Burkhardt and his wife Sherry Tharp of Milton, Kentucky; his daughter, Tia Oberhausen and her husband Eric of Milton, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jessica L. Burkhardt, Kenneth A. "Taylor" Burkhardt (Tonya), Josh Burkhardt (Christian), Tasha Sachleben (Andy), and Clayton Oberhausen (Eden), J.W.Cornish (Misty), Josh Stewart (Cari); his step grandchildren, Angela Baker and Jeffery Wright (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Ginny Howard, Trinity Burkhardt, Kenny Cope, Ireland Cook, Trenton Stockdale, Noah Burkhardt, McKenna Burckhardt, Mackenzie Cornish, Bella Stewart, Enslee Jo Sharp, and Easton Sharp;his sisters, Betty Lichlyter of Carrollton, Kentucky, Jackie Hudson and her husband Glen of Milton, Kentucky, Nancy Gaines and her husband John of Milton, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth W. Burkhardt, his mother, Gladys Melvina Jones Burkhardt, his adopted son, Harold Aubrey, his sister, Agnes Joyce, his sister in law, Helen O'Neal.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE CEREMONY
Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. by Bro. Aaron Snelling at the Mt. Byrd Christian Church, 92 Peck Pike Milton, Kentucky. Interment will follow in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Kentucky. There will be a meal following the graveside back at the Mt. Byrd Christian Church.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Friday, August 4, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Mt. Byrd Christian Church, 92 Peck Pike Milton, Kentucky.
