January 23, 2009 Virginia Battelle Kinney, 102, of Syracuse, died January 23, 2009. She was a native of Attleboro, MA, and resided in the Syracuse area most of her life. She was predeceased by her daughter, Shirley A. Stewart. Surviving are one son, Kenneth E. Battelle; three daughters, Jane K. Lyon, Joan F. Conine and Lynne Johnson; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Daniel's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, North Attleboro, MA. Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at 2649 James Street.
