Ringgold - Roy Mangrum Mathews, 87, of Castor died Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Rockett Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Gibson and the Rev. J. D. Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Little Hope Cemetery near Castor.
Survivors are four sons, Guy Mathews and Daigle Mathews, both of Castor, Don Mathews of League City, Tex., and J.E. Mathews of Houston, Tex.; six daughters, Mrs. Wadie Spencer of Minden, Mrs. Madie Plunkett and Mrs. Billie Wood, both of Castor, Mrs. O.V. Hall of League City, Tex., Mattie Lee Weiss of Friends Wood, Tex., and Mrs. Alice Sumner of Minden; 33 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
