Mrs Robert M. (Lena G.) Randall, 79, of 216 Prospect St., Cambridge Springs, died at Meadville City Hospital Thursday, October 27, 1977, after an illness of three weeks. She had lived at Edinboro all her life until moving to Cambridge Springs 12 years ago.
Born at Edinboro on Aug 3 1898, she was a daughter of John D. and Mary Waite Alward. She married Mr. Randall on September 15, 1915. Mrs. Randall was a member of the Cambridge Springs First Baptist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School class of the church.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Virginia) Skelton of RD2 Cambridge Springs; a son, Walter of RD 1, Greeg, S.C.; a brother, Cecil Alward of Edinboro; two granddaughters; and two great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ben, Clarence, and Bruce Alward.
Friends called from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, October 29, at the H. William Van Matre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs, where services were conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, October 30, with the Rev. Richard Hampton, pastor of Cambridge Springs First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was at Edinboro Cemetery.
Paul [sic] bearers were John and James Alward, Wayne Lewis, Paul Skelton and Robert Campbell.
