OBITUARY
Ruth E. Bryant, 68, Atchison, Kansas early Saturday, November 12, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.

Memorial services will be Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Pastor James Cormode officiating. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, Nov. 17th from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to V.F. W. Post #1175 Auxiliary and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Ruth was born December 4, 1947 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Ralph and Jane Jackson Clem. She attended elementary schools in Atchison and Effingham, Kansas, graduating from Atchison County Community High School in Effingham.

Ruth served with the Home Team of Kansas through the Amera Group in Atchison, assisting families with and educating them on daily task.

In her spare time she enjoyed baking, having coffee with friends and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

She was of the Christian faith. She was a member of the V. F. W. Post #1175 Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include, two sons, Jerry L. Bennett, II, Atchison, KS; Michael D. Lovejoy, Ottawa, KS; a daughter, Stacey (Greg) Smith, Cummings, KS; five sisters, Linda Ferris, Huron, KS; Dorothy Lutz, West Palm Beach, FL; Carol Thomas, Huron, KS; Vicky Myers, Lancaster, KS; Sandy Clem, Atchison, KS; and seven grandchildren, Rachael Sowers, Naomi Bennett, Autumn Bennett, Christopher Bennett, Colby Smith, Austin Smith and Lauren Smith.

She was preceded in death by a brother, James Clem and two sisters, Bonnie Kelch and Loma Clem.
