CLEM RITES ON TUESDAY
Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Clem, 47, 1617 South Sixth Street, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Atchison hospital Friday night following an apparent heart attack at her home. Mrs. Clem was reported to have been ill for some time.
She was born here n Aug. 1?, 1921, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jackson and had been a lifelong resident of Atchison. Mrs. Clem is survived by her husband, William Ralph Clem of the home; eight daughters, Loma Lee, Sandra Joan, Vicki Sue, all of the home, and Mrs. Charles (Linda Joyce) Ferris, Mrs. George (Bonnie Jane) Goodpasture, Mrs. Timothy ( Carol) Thomas, and Mrs. Jerry (Ruth) Bonnett, all of the Atchison area. and Mrs. Kenneth Lutz of Columbia, Mo.; a son James Ralph Clem of Hiawatha; two brothers, Robert A. Jackson of Danover, Mass., and Kenneth Jackson of Corono, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Willard Connel of Easton; Mrs. Jack Chalman of Rushville and Mrs. David Peek of Savannah, Mo.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Sawin-Dyer chapel with the Rev. John Hodge of Easton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the chapel.
