SHAVER, MILDRED MAE, age 89, of Xenia, passed away on Wednesday June 7, 2023 at the Sion Hospital, Beavercreek. She was born on April 18 1934 in Paintsville, Ky to Con and Clova Franklin. In 1951 she married James Shaver, and he preceded her in death after 52 years of marriage.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, her sister Flora Brewer, and her brothers Robert Salyer, David Franklin and James Franklin. Mildred is survived by her children, James (Jackie) Shaver, Frankie (Candy Caplinger) Shaver, Sandy (Dexter) Darby and Paula (Russel) Trusty, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Mildred retired from the Greene County Career Center after more than 15 years. She loved the outdoors and gardening. She also loved going to the Casinos.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday June 13, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at the Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St., Fairborn, OH. A graveside service will follow at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn, Ohio. Pastor Lonnie Bocook will officiate.
