They reside next to household of their son John Simpson Armstrong, 33, a carpenter, and his wife Mary Ann (Wright) 33, born Ireland and their children John W, Margaret B and Mathew 3.

His wife Mary Armstrong listed as widow on 1867 Williams Wheeling Directory, 5 & 6th and Clay and Lindsley, also with John S Armstrong, carpenter, same address.

John's brother David Armstrong was a miller, their family living in Ohio County VA/WV same time. David is buried in Stone Church Cemetery, where John may be perhaps.
