Syble E. Jones, 86, passed away Friday, March 14, 2008, in Georgia. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Pearl Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Scott's Funeral Home.
Syble was born in Coryell County, Texas, to the late Boss and Bessie Davis Anderson. She married Everett Jones on Feb. 8, 1941, in Pearl, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Ridge Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Jones; son, Ernest Jones; and brother, Mack Vernon Anderson.
Survivors include her daughter, Marty Watson; grandchildren, Todd Burns and Amy Duhon; great-granddaughters, Nicole Burns and Brooke Duhon; brothers, J.B. Anderson, Davis Clinton Anderson and Jimmy Anderson; sister, Edith Cox; and many other loving family members.
