Sherman Andrew Chambers, age 90, of Richlands, VA, passed away on Wednesday May 3, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Born on July 14, 1932, he was the son of the late Robert and Florence Moore Chambers. Sherman was a US Army and Air Force Veteran during the Korean War. He loved to fish and go for long walks

In addition to his parents, Sherman was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters; one grandson, Sherman Blankenship; He was the last surviving member of his immediate family in his generation.

Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 69 years Juanita Chambers; 4 children, Carol Whitt and husband, Condle, Tina Denise Fuller and husband Frank Fuller, Cristina Chambers and Rick fields, Pam Hayes and husband Johnny Hayes; 11 grandchildren, Angel Royston, Jeremy Slate, Shawn Hill, Josh Hill, Brandi Willis, Ambre Belcher, Misty Sullivan, Shannon Nelson, Latosha Rose, Laura Weeks and Jenny Parrish.

Services will be held 1PM Friday May 5, 2023, in the Singleton Funeral Service Chapel, with Pastor Keith Cordle officiating. Burial will follow at Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Condle Whitt, Frank Fuller, Rick Fields, Zack Royston, Marcus Smith and Lucas Barton. Visitation will be held 12 pm until time service begins. Military Rites will be conducted by Casey Short VFW Post 9640
