ROBERT TAYLOR BRYANT
Funeral services for Robert Taylor Bryant, 75, of Dayton Avenue, Crossville, who passed away Dec. 16, 1997, were held Dec. 19 from the chapel of Burris Funeral Home, with burial in Mayland Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 25, 1922 in Knox County, TN, the son of George Thomas Bryant and Maggie Ida Guess Bryant.
Mr. Bryant was an equipment operator for the county and a member of Grassy Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include special friend, Jamie Kilby of Oakdale, TN; sisters, Geneva Hajny and Ruth Allen, both of Crossville, and Opal Stringer of Cookeville; brother, Sam Bryant of Crossville; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Freddy Rogers, Rosco Houston, Andy Hajny, Frankie Hajny, James Brown and Sam Houston.
The Rev. Huel Hooker officiated.
Burris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
