Samuel Henry Bryant, 73, of Crossville, passed away May 20, 2000. Funeral services were conducted May 22 from the chapel of Burris Funeral Home, with burial in Crossville City Cemetery. David Rowan and Nick Ball officiated.
Mr. Bryant was born Oct. 13, 1926, in Cumberland County, the son of George and Maggie Gist Bryant.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Bryant of Crossville; sons, Gary Bryant and Sammy Bryant, both of Crossville; sisters, Ruth Allen and Geneva Hajny, both of Crossville, and Opal Stringer of Cookeville, TN; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was a retired construction equipment operator with TVA, and he served with the U.S. Army.
