WINSLOW , Ind. -- Jesse G. Nelson, 91, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, at Amber Manor Nursing Home in Petersburg.
Surviving are a daughter, Lyndall Capen of Indianapolis; three sons, Jess W. and Alan E., both of Winslow and Eldon E. of Marietta Ga.; two sisters, Helen Bolton of Winslow and Hazel Stodsdill of Indianapolis; a brother, August of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.
His wife, Virginia, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. EST Saturday at Winslow Christian Church, with burial in Sunset Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Curtis Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to service time at the church.
Contributions may be made to Winslow Senior Citizens or the American Cancer Society.
