Donald Ray Brown, 62, of 898 Jefferson Ave, died 12:20 a.m. Sunday, December 14, 1997, in Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born September 2, 1935, in Floyd Co., Ky, to the late William R. and Lena Reynolds Brown. He was married May 4, 1985, to Rose C. Reeves, who survives. Also surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Penny Brown, Lexington, KY., Dewey and Pam Hutchison, Madisonville, Ky., Thomas and Marlene Adams, and Timothy and Chantelle Adams, all of Estherville, Iowa and Terry and Doris Adams, Hawesville, Ky.: son Nate Pinnacoli, Chillicothe,; daughter and son-in-law, Jolinda and bill Saxour, Gahanna; daughters Nadine McAdams, Chillicothe and Karla Barnett, Columbus; 14 grandchildren; Brothers, John Y Brown, Robert Brown and Harry Byers, all of Chillicothe and Phillip Steward, Phoenix, Ariz; brothers and sisters-in-law, Nick and Claire Byers, Frankfort and Jerry and Sharon Byers, Chillicothe; sisters and brothers-in-law, Juanita and Tom Janes, Cicero, Ill. and Linda and Mike Hill, Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Larry Brown. Don served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a retired real estate salesman. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Ware Funeral Home, with Rev. Rick Hartley officiating. Friends may call at Ware's from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.
