- Died of diphtheria.
- He had red hair.
- See my grandmother's handwritten note (Adela M. Obermann) in 1976 (given to me for my 8th grade history project) about these brothers. George had red hair. And his brother Pearl J died only 15 day after George. Yes, Pearl was a boy's name in this case. My grandfather, Harry William Obermann was their brother, and he was only 7 months old whenever George and Pearl passed away.
