He was born in Sicily and lived in Syracuse for more than 60 years. Mr. Lizzio retired in 1984 after 42 years as a fruit and produce dealer. He was the owner/operator of Lizzio's Fruit & Produce located at 1225 Milton Avenue in Solvay NY.
He and his wife, Josephine LaMacchia Lizzio celebrated their " Golden Anniversary" in 1973.
Surviving are his wife Josephine La Macchia Lizzio: three sons; Anthony Jr., Pasquale "Pat", and Thomas Lizzio all of Syracuse.
two daughter's; Mrs. Mary Renne, and Mrs. Catherine Prince; two brothers;Frank and Lorenzo Lizzio both of Italy. He had 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren
