Thomas J. Alexander Sr, age 82, of Shullsburg, WI, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020, at the Shullsburg Home in Shullsburg. He was born April 14, 1937 in Shullsburg, the son of Charles William and Josephine (Meehan) Alexander. Thomas was united in marriage to Mary Shirley on May 14, 1960 in Shullsburg. Thomas lived in the Shullsburg area most of his life. He hauled gravel for Morrissey Trucking and Iron Ore at Eagle Pitcher Mine in Shullsburg. He also drove milk truck for Roelli Cheese. In the past twenty years Thomas worked for various carnivals out of Florida.

Thomas is survived by his three children: Thomas (Donna) Alexander Jr. of Benton, WI, Mary Jo Prien of Elkhorn, WI, and JoAnna (John) Fuller of Monroe, WI; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two sisters: Vera Fisher of Bargersville, IN, and Rosemary Dustin of Platteville, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife on January 25, 2014; twin children: Mary and John Alexander; one brother: Charlie Alexander; three sisters: Helen Beasley, Gladys Alexander, and Dolores Sigafus.

Thomas was known to be an avid hunter and fisherman in his younger years.
