Charles William Alexander, 72, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Bargersville. He was born May 13, 1926, in Shullsburg, Wis. His parents were Charles W. and Jospehine (Meehan) Alexander Sr.
Survivors include five sisters, Gladys Alexander, Dubuque, Iowa, Helen Beasley, Mooresville, Vera Fisher, Bargersville, Rose Dustin, Darlington, Wis., and Josephine Sigafus, Belvidere, Ill.; and a brother, Tom Alexander, Shullsburg, Wis.
He was employed for 20 years in the street maintenance department of the City of Shullsburg, Wis. He was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Shullsburg, Wis.
The Rev. James R. Lins will conduct a service at 11 am today in St. Matthew's Catholic church. Interment will be at St. Matthew's Cemetery in Shullsburg, Wis.
