Josephine Delores Sigafus, 78, of Belvidere, Illinois, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Generations at Neighbors in Byron, Illinois. The daughter of the late Charles and Josephine (Meehan) Alexander, she was born October 24, 1939, in Shullsburg, Wisconsin.
Josephine married the love of her life, Dale Sigafus on June 7, 1958 in Shullsburg, Wisconsin. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts at St. James Church, and St. Joseph's Hospital Thrift Store in Belvidere, Illinois.
She is loved and will be missed by: husband of nearly 60 years; children, Gina Sigafus, Greg Sigafus, Gary Sigafus, and Glen Sigafus; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy; sisters, Vera, Helen, and Rosie.
She was preceded in death by: parents; sister, Gladys; and brother, Charlie.
