She was united in marriage to Mr. Everett Luke in February 1906. They moved to Eureka, Kansas sixteen years ago where they made their home.
Her husband preceded her in death only four months ago.
To this union were born five children, Alman, who preceded his mother in death, Mrs. Katie Lyon of Eureka; Mrs. Bessie Branstetter of Eureka; Mrs. Dessie Branstetter of Great Bend; Glen Luke of Great Bend. and thirteen grandchildren. Beside the children she leaves to mourn her passing, two brothers and six sisters, Benjamin McDaniel of Eureka, Kansas; Enos McDaniel of Memphis, Missouri; Mrs. Amanda Parker of Burwell, Nebraska; Mrs. Mary Blything and Mrs. Nellie Dalton of Memphis, Missouri; Mrs. Pollie Hatfield of Edina, Missouri; Mrs. Thursa Royer of Callio, Missouri; Mrs. Hulda Christian near Omaha, Nebraska.
The mother and father, three brothers and three sisters and one grandchild preceded her in death.
Mrs. Luke leaves to mourn her passing not only her immediate relatives but a host of other friends.
Funeral service conducted by Rev. F.R. Parker, was held from the Baird Funeral Home Saturday, October 23, at 2:30. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery.
