Florence Bullard, Sister Of Art Barnard, 93, Dies
Florence Catherine Bullard, 93, Wayne City, died Monday (today) Aug. 27, 2007 at 9 a.m. at Way-Fair Restorium. She was a sister to Art Barnard Jr.
Life-Long Merchant
She was a fifty-plus year member of Wayne City First Baptist Church. She and her husband were life-long merchants owning Bullard Trailer Sales of new and used mobile homes; Barnard Country Store at Crisp, north of Wayne City; owners/operators of Newton Western Auto Store.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at York Funeral Home in Wayne City at 10:30 a.m. with burial in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at York Funeral Home.

Florence was born in Wayne County on May 10, 1914 to Arthur Barnard Sr., and May Tolbert Barnard. She married Leonard Bullard who preceded her in death after 70 years.
Survivors include brother, Art Barnard Jr.,; and many nieces and nephews, plus severeal great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Estel Barnard and Lavern Barnard.
