Leonard Bullard, 94, of Wayne City, died 2:15 p.m. March 22, 2007, at Way-Fair Nursing Home in Fairfield.
He was born July 5, 1912, in Wayne County, to John and Martha (Malone) Bullard. He married . . . on Sept. 16, 1936, in Caryle.
Leonard was self employed, was owner operator of former Western Auto in Newton, Barnards Country Store in Crisp, and Bullard Trailer Sales west of Wayne City. He was a 50+ year member of Wayne City Baptist Church, oldest member of Orel Lodge #759 (70 year pin), 50 year pin from Ainad Shrine, and served many years on the Wayne Fire Protection District Board.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Wayne City Baptist Church in Wayne City. Bro. Mike Steed and Bro. Roger Tyler will officiate. Burial will be in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at York Funeral Home in Wayne City and after 1 p.m. Sunday at Wayne City Baptist Church.
Leonard is survived by his wife of 70 years, . . . ; sister-in-law . . . ; brother-in-law . . . ; nieces and nephews . . . .
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lowell, and sister Wanda.
