Hervé was the third child of Albert Langlois and Aurore Paquette. Always a dedicated student, he spent many years attending university classes in Montreal on various different subjects and would study alongside many of Quebec's future political leaders, such as Rene Levesque and Pierre Elliot Trudeau. Graduating with a degree in psychology, he would begin working as a supervisor and mentor for juvenile delinquents and would continue to do so for many years. Later in life, he would serve as a messenger in Montreal. TonTon Hervé passed away peacefully at the age of eighty-six and is greatly missed by his family.
