Janice Call Warren was born Sunday, 8 October 1939 in Salmon, the daughter of A. Kenneth and Gladys Webb Call.

She graduated from Salmon High School in 1958 and attended business school in Pocatello. On Friday 21 October 1960, she was married to Sam Warren at the Presbyterian Church in Salmon. They lived in Nevada where he was employ with the Forest Service. They transferred to Challis in September 1969. She was a member of the Episcopal Church in Minden, Nevada.

Survivors include her widower, Sam; a son, David of Challis; her mother, Gladys Swanson of Salmon; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Vet (Mamie) Bartlett of Salmon; brothers, Bill, of Salmon, Calvin, of Bishop, California, Dave of Los Angeles, California, and Loren, serving in Okinawa; sisters, Margaret Rytlewski of Arlington, Virginia, and Kathryn of Gunning, Arco.

Funeral services were held at the Jones Funeral Home of Salmon Tuesday with Father Palmer Wylde of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer officiating. Mrs. Warren died suddenly Friday, 3 September 1971 at her home in Challis.
