Funeral Services were held 5 Nov 2005 for Calvin C. Call,age 73, at the Salmon River Funeral Chapel. Calvin passed away 29 October 2005 near the Flying B Ranch Resort in the Middle Fork area of the Idaho primitive area. Calvin Clarence Call was born 8 March 1932 in Salmon, the second child of Kenneth Call and Dorothy Stevens Call. He attended school in Salmon, Shoup and Carmen. While attending school in Carmen he lived with the John Webb family and would ride his horse, Topsy, to school, many times fording the Salmon River. He enlisted in the US Air Force in 1950 serving in Tennessee and in North Africa at Nassauer Air Force Base as an Air Force Policeman. He was and active rodeo contestant, riding bucking horses and bull dogging. He worked as a packer, guide, heavy equipment operator and truck driver. Cal was an active longtime member of the Operatin engineers Union. he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. In May of 1956 Cal married Arlene Mills Burch in Salmon, Idaho. They had four children; KC Call of Kemmerer, Wyoming, Darryl Call of Pinedale, Wyoming, Lori Flatt(Eric)of Morengo Valley, California and Brenda Parker of Portland, Oregon. Cal and Arlene were later divorced. Arlene passed away in October 2000. He is survived by 4 children; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, a sister, Margaret Ann Rytlewshi of Edgewater, Maryland; brothers Dave Call of Salmon and Loren Call of Boise. He was prededed in death by his parents, one brother Bill, and a half sister, Janice Warren. Services wer performed by Lloyd Shaw American Legion Post No. 67
