Death of Samuel B. Corbaley.
Samuel B. Corbaley, who was born in this county, near Clermont, in 1834, died Saturday at his home, one mile west of Haughville. He had suffered for a long time with organic heart trouble which, complicated with other diseases, caused death. Mr. Corbaley was appointed chief deputy to sheriff Carter in 1884. He served under Mr. Carter and several of his successors. His efficiency was notable. His wife and two children, George M. Corbaley and Mrs. W. D. Lalley, survive. He was a member of Wheatley Lodge, K. of H. The burial will take place at Mt. Jackson cemetery, where other members of his family are buried.
