Samuel B. Corbaley and wife Amanda (Dawson) had a set of infant twins that died on March 5, 1855. They were buried in the Argos Town Cemetery.

The record for the twins death comes from the diary of Richard Corbaley (Samuel’s brother).

"Monday, March 5, 1855:
Still pleasant. Wrote a letter to D. R. Mansfield. Amanda Corbaley (Amanda Dawson Corbaley, wife of his brother Samuel) lost pair of Twins – both died. Jane (his wife Jane Croco Corbaley) staid there all night with Mrs. Brownlee. Commissioners in Session. Roads getting muddy."
