Margery Butterfield Whiting was born 4 December 1895 in what is now known as Lava Hot Springs, Bannock, Idaho. Her parents were Charles Robert Butterfield who was born in Boxford, Idaho, and Adelia Quigly born in Clarkston, Utah. She married Forres Whiting 3 December 1912 in Pocatello, Bannock, Idaho.(Marriage record 97860) She died 25 September 1933 in Salmon, Lemhi, Idaho and was buried in the Salmon Cemetery on 27 September 1933. (Death Certificate 86352).
