Linda Cleary of LaPlace, LA passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the age of 73. She was born on February 28, 1949 in New Orleans, LA where she grew up as part of a big loving family.
She worked as care giver for the elderly and always wanted to make sure those around her were taken care of. Linda also enjoyed working in her yard, either mowing the grass or tending to her plants.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, William Cleary, Jr. and Lorina Lagman Cleary, her daughter, Sheryl Gubert Hergruder, and her siblings, Billy, George, Randy, Pat, and Diane.
She is survived by her son, Val Gubert, Jr. (Stephanie), grandchildren, Ayla Seal (Brian), Christopher Hergruder, Valarie Ambrose (Michael), Val Gubert III (Sarah), and Taylor Gubert, many great-grandgrandchildren, siblings Wanda, Judy, Darlene, Barbara, Christine, Angel, and Glenn, and many nieces and nephews.
Family members remember her as independent, strong willed, and always willing to help those in need.
The family would like to thank the Guardian Angel Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Linda in her final days.
