William Avant
TENNILLE - William H. Avant, 89, died Wednesday in a Washington County hospital. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Mayo Funeral Home in Sandersville. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Washington County.
Mr. Avant, a native of Washington County, was a member of Bay Springs Methodist Church. He was a retired railroad employee and a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. W.H. Avant of Tennille, and a daughter, Mrs. James Francis of Sandersville.
