Margie Mary Rogers Creason, 66, of Fairview Road, Andrews, died Feb., 21, 2003 at the Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home in Murphy.

She was a native of Cherokee County, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Vengeance Creek Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Homer Astor Rogers, Sr. and was preceded in death by her husband, William Grandville Creason; and two brothers, Homer Astor Rogers, Jr. and Kyle Rogers.

She is survived by her mother, Lucy Queen Rogers of Marble, three sons, William Dale Creason of Andrews, Stephen Anthony Creason and his wife, Connie of Cherryville, and Gregory Scott Creason and his wife, Janet of Cullowhee, three brothers, Kenneth Rogers and Rev. Glenn Rogers both of Marble, and James Rogers of Andrews, three sisters, Leuna Adams, Doris Adams and Joyce McColley all of Marble, five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 p. m., Feb. 23, at the Townson Rose Chapel in Andrews, Rev. Ron McClure and Rev. Butch Stillwell, officiated. Burial was held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Murphy. Pallbearers were Dean Rogers, Jimmy Coker, Jack Martin, James Rogers, Charles Moyer, Chonzie McMahan and Kendall Barnett.

The family received friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p. m. Feb 23, at the Townson Rose Chapel in Andrews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Society, PO Box 1151, Murphy, NC 28906.
