Martha Elizabeth BARNES b. 12 Sep 1843 Mt. Morris, Livingston, Ny d, 22 Feb 1916 She was the Dau of Joseph BARNES and Mary WELLER. (both buried Greenwood Cemetery Winnebago, ILL) He married Dr. Francis Almon BURNHAM 30 Dec 1869 Winnebago Co., Il. lived near here sister breifly in Ogle County and moved to Saco. She had three children:
1) Maud Elcy BURNHAM m. James Harrison SHANNON 2) Martha Elizabeth BURNHAM m. Charles Lyman MILLIKEN 3)Odilee Gertrude BURNHAM m. Prof. John Clifford GRAY

Her grandparents John BARNES and Elizabeth POTTS are m. Sept. 1 1805. Kingwood Baptist Church, Kingwood, Hunterdon, Province of New Jersey. and then moved to Mount Morris, Livingston County, NY. between 1825-1829.

John BARNES was the son of William BARNES and Agnes POTTS.
