On Apr. 10, 1712 at Wethersfield (by James Wells, JP), Mary m. as his first wife, Samuel Belding (q.v. Belden), Jr., s. of Samuel and Hannah Belding, b. July 25, 1689 at Wethersfield where he d. July 31, 1771. They had upwards of 14 children of record at Wethersfield. Whereas Mary has a known gravestone at the Center Cemetery at Rocky Hill, by 1899 Samuel had no known gravestone, but is assumed to have also been interred at this same cemetery.]
