Nina E. Flessner, 83, rural Thawville, died at 9:20 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 17, 2008) at her home.
She was born Oct. 18, 1924, in Marrowbone, Ky. to Clanis Hebron and Mary Mosby Garmon. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister and one brother, Dorothy (George) Perkins and Clanis Ray Garmon. She married Walter W. Flessner on Aug. 29, 1942 in Moscow Mills, Mo. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Bonnie Lindsey, Elkhart, Indiana; Janice (Bill) Bleich, Champaign; Richard (Debbie) Flessner, Roberts and Robert (Becky) Flessner, Thawville; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; six sisters, Ruby (Glen) Benway, Washington; Virginia (Tom) O'Connor, Joliet; Geneva (Kenneth) Dancy, Bismarck; Shelby (Henry) Aquino, Rossville; Judy (Mike) Willis, Danville and Sandy (Don) Wilson, Bismarck and two brothers, Don (Linda) Garmon, Mapleton, and Ron Garmon, Danville.
