OBITUARY
Miss Ann Catherine Siman(sic)was born in Frederick county, Maryland, January 31, 1845, and died July 29, 1921, at the age of 76 years.
October 25, 1866 she was married to Jacob G. Whitacre. Eleven children were born to them, five sons and six daughters. Two daughters, May Rosa and Bessie Opal are dead.
She is survived by Mrs. Florence Ross, of Miami county; Mrs. Emma Isenbarger, of Paudling county; Mrs. Mary Ross of Rosehill; Mrs. Nanna Jenkinson of Rossburg; John Whitacre of Salimonia, Ind.; George Whitacre of North Dayton; James Whitacre of North Dayton; Wesley Whitacre near Mt. Zion church; Fred Whitacre of Rossburg; six brothers and two sisters, nineteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
She was converted at the Rosehill U.B. church and later became a member of that church. Later she transferred membership to the Mt.Zion Presbyterian church where she remained a member until her death.
Mrs. Whitacre was loyal to the church and faithful in attendance.
