Veldena B. Miller, 95, of the White Sands Community, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Laughlin Health Care Center.
She had worked in manufacturing.

Mrs. Miller was affiliated with the Church of God.

She loved quilting, gardening, working in her flowers, her doves, and cooking for family and friends.

Survivors include a son: Donald Dean (Judy) Miller; daughter: Darlene (Steve) Freshour; grandchildren: Joy (Freddie) Myers, Chris (Amity) Miller, T.J. (Laura) Freshour; great grandchildren: Chad (Ashley) Higginbotham, Jessica Myers, Dakotah Cutshall, Brady and Ava Freshour; great great grandchildren: Chloe Lyn Higginbotham, Makeelee and Bryjen Nelson; sister: Marjorie Malone; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Miller; parents: James and Verna Wilhoit; four brothers: Doyle, Robert, Lawrence, and George Wilhoit; seven sisters: Ethel Bird, Fannie Walker, Ruth Fillers, Inis Humphreys, Eurie Ward, Dolly Seaton, and Kate Shelton; and an infant sister: Carrie.

The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Fillers and Rev. Harrell Cobb officiating.

Interment will be at 11 am Thursday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:30am Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Freddie Myers, Chris Miller, T.J. Freshour, Chad Higginbotham, Ronnie Wilhoit, and Larry Walker.
