J. T. DERFLINGER DIES AT HIS HOME HERE AT AGE 61

    Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. H. Walk Curry, were held Sunday afternoon in the Maddox Funeral Home Chapel, for Thomas Derflinger, aged 61 years, who died in his home near Front Royal last Thursday night. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
    He was born in the Fort District of Warren County, the son of the late James and Ellen Derflinger and married Miss Brentie Henry, who survives, with a son and four daughters, Harland Derflinger of Front Royal, Mrs. Harold Holt of Lynchburg, Mrs. Marvin Mitchell of Carlisle Barracks, Pa., Mrs. Robert Andrews of Bennetts Chapel and Miss Genevieve Derflinger of Orange. Four brothers and three sisters also survive: Clarence and Joseph Derflinger of Front Royal; U. S. Derflinger of Bennetts Chapel; and Robert Derflinger, Mrs. John Alger, Mrs. Joseph Grim and Mrs. Bertha Putnam, of Martinsburg, W. Va.
    Pallbearers were Harold Holt, Robert Andrews. Martin Mitchell. Grady Williams, Arthur Smith and Everett Henry.
