Mrs. Kopetsky was born August 20, 1911 in Bell County, Texas, to Frank and Rosalie Sodek. She was a mother and a housewife and spent her lifetime in the Franklin area. She was a member of the Slavonic Benevolent Order of the State of Texas. She married Albert Kopestsky June 1, 1932 in Bryan. He preceded her in death after 55 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and twelve siblings.
She is survived by a daughter, June Reamer of Franklin; son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Laura Kopetsky of Franklin; two granddaughters and husbands, Terry and Bill Manning of Willow City, Texas, Tammie and Homer Walters of Sanger, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wheelock Cemetery Chapel or the Wheelock Cemetery Association @ P.O. Box 14, Wheelock, Texas 77882.
