James Edward Boothe, 84, of Fincastle passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James, Sr. and Mattie Boothe, and numerous siblings.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Mary Ellen Finch; son, Troy Edward Boothe; granddaughter, Harleigh Byrd; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Ann Koger; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 pm with services at 2 pm on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Elmer Clemmons officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations be made to Botetourt Funeral Home to aid in funeral expenses.
