Mr. Baird, 56, of East Freedom RD 1, died at 11:20 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 17, 1991, at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring.
Mr. Baird retired on disability as a die caster from Veeder-Root in 1970, after 15 years' service.
He was born Sept. 10, 1935, in Mill Creek, the son of Calvin B. and Minnie B. (Snack) Baird, and March 13, 1953, in Hagerstown, Md., married Leah G. Paulvir.
Surviving are his wife, three children, Linda Clapper Baird of Huntingdon, Janet Eldred of Hollidaysburg and John F. of East Freedom, and six grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters and a brother: Geraldine Sheffield of Hartslog Valley, Dorothy Pandolfino of Huntingdon, and Shirley Sarvis and Ted of Altoona.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville.
BAIRD – Services for John F. Baird of East Freedom RD 1, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home Inc., Duncansville, by the Rev. Todd Jameson and the Rev. George C. Baird. Interment at Dry Run Cemetery, Duncansville RD. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Preceded in death by a brother, George W. Baird of Mill Creek.
