Mrs. Denning was born November 22, 1903 in Young County, Texas, 10 miles southeast of Graham, Texas, to Young County pioneers, Orton Bennett and Pauline Bottoms Bennett. On September 23, 1925 she married Marshall Houston Denning in Bryson, Texas where she resided until July 16, 1987. To this union were born two daughters who survive her. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1984. She moved to Tarrant County on July 16, 1987 from Bryson. She was a member of the Baptist Church and a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Survivors include two daughters, Lois Gene Qualls and her husband Dee of Euless and Mildred Harrison and her husband, James of Arlington; four grandsons, David Qualls of Angelton, Van Qualls of Lexington, Kentucky, Dwight Harrison of Grand Prairie and Bill Harrison of Arlington; two granddaughters; Becky Q. Dickinson of Rendon, Texas and Debra Ditterline of Arlington; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
