Mrs. Josephine Kienzle 1113 South Third street, for forty-five years a resident of La Crosse, died of old age at her home at 10:50 o'clock last night. She had been ill for the last year.

Mrs. Kienzle, who was 82 years old, was born in Germany on February 10, 1830. She had lived in this city for forty-five years, coming here from Milwaukee when La Crosse was a village. She was the widow of Leonard Kienzle.

Surviving her are five daughters, Mrs. Catharine Miller of Milwaukee; Mrs. Anna Montes of Milwaukee; Mrs. Minnie Stafford of Neillsville; Mrs. A. G. Hilton of Fall River, Mass.; and Miss Agnes E. Kienzle, of La Crosse, and three sons, Raymond N. Kienzle, of Neillsville; John H. Kienzle, of Minneapolis; and Joseph V. Kienzle, of La Crosse.

The funeral will be held Friday morning from the residence, 1113 South Third street, at 8:30 o'clock and from the St. Joseph Cathedral at nine o'clock with Rev. Sluyter officiating at the services. Interment will be made in the Catholic cemetery. Fessler & Dahl are in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Josephine married Paul Keller in 1849 and Leonard Kienzle in 1865.
