Hi, during the Covid lock down a few years back, I needed something to do to get out of the house. I started documenting cemeteries, one at a time, taking pictures of all memorials that didn't have grave photos.

There are a few cemeteries in the Sparta area that I documented the entire cemetery. Yes, I took pictures of every stone and either added a grave photo or set them up as a new memorial and added a grave photo. As you can imagine, that makes me the manager of many memorials, almost all of them are for people I am not connected to in any form.

When a suggestion comes in to update information, I will accept that suggestion and transfer that memorial back to the person requesting it. In my mind, you have more of a connection to that person than I do, therefore would make a better manager of that memorial.

If you absolutely do not want to manage that memorial, please feel free to send it back. I will try and remember your name for future suggestions. My apologies if I forget.

1/7/2024 - Completed a review of Leon Cemetery, Leon, WI. Made a copy of the plat book and took pictures of every memorial that I could locate. If you need any information from that plat book and aren't able to make it to the Monroe County Historical Center, let me know. Current burials are not in the plat book.
