ELIZABETH MARIE PRICE, age 95 formerly of Eaton-Gettysburg Rd. Eaton and currently of Alterra Sterling House in Richmond, IN died Sunday, August 12, 2001 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. Born on June 17, 1906 in Sugar Valley, Preble County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Willis I. & Minnie M. (Dolphin) Leary. She had farmed in Jackson Twp and was the oldest member of the New Hope United Methodist Church where she had played the piano and organ for 75 years. She was a member of the Women's organization of the church and was a 1925 Jackson High School graduate. Preceded in death by Husband: William Dale Laverne Price in 1977, Daughter: Veda L. (Price) Grimme in 1960, Sister: Glenna E. O'Hara in 1996.
Survivors include Sons & Daughter-in-law: Earl L. & Mildred Price and Curtis E. Price both of Eaton, OH; Grandchildren: Deborah (Dean) Kreitzer, Carolyn (Kurt) Bachman, Douglas (Rhonda) Price, Susan (Mark) Mancuso, Michael Price, Andrew Price and Laura (Neal) Cottingim; Great Grandchildren: Brian & Jennifer Kreitzer, Kristen & Kyle Bachman and Emily Price. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 15, 2001 - 1:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) at the New Hope United Methodist Church - 3330 Upshur-Northern Rd. - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Jeffery Blair officiating.
