O.H. "Butch" Jarvis, 66, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 26, 2005, at a hospice in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home.
Butch was born Aug. 14, 1939, in Dallas to John and Dale Jarvis. He was a co-owner of Little John's Wrecking Yard for 48 years and Square Deal Iron & Metal.
Among many things, he enjoyed horse racing, hunting and going to the lake with his family.
He was a wonderful husband and father. His great sense of humor will not be forgotten.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dianne; sister, Ethel Glendale; brother, Frank; and sister-in-law, Margaret.
Survivors: Daughters, Denise Munnerlyn, Stacey Jarvis, Lisa Horton and husband, Randy; son, Jason Jarvis and wife, Kandice; grandchildren, Brian Munnerlyn, Dede Dekin, Chris and Cody Horton, Brent, Breann, Blake and Brooklyn Jarvis; great-grandchild, Elisha Munnerlyn; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill Jarvis and wife, Mary Sue, Richard Jarvis, Billie Jean Jarvis, Joe Jarvis and wife, Billie Jean; sister, Patsy Freeman and husband, Jesse; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
