Cecil Grant Hall, 88, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022, at his home in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on March 10, 1934, in Campbellsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Isaac and Plina (Shanks) Hall. Cecil served in the U.S. Army. On January 16, 1955, he married Alice Mae (Abbott) Hall, who passed away on April 3, 2016. He was the owner of the old Hall's Plaster Contractor for over forty years in Scottsburg, Indiana. Cecil was a member of the Reman Lodge, Amick, Baker, Kellams F.O.P. Lodge, American Legion Post # 234, Scott County V.F.W. Post #6582, and the Disabled American Veterans. In addition to his parents and wife, Alice, Cecil was preceded in death by one son, David Hall; one grandson, Travis Grant; five brothers, Virgil, Doug, Bob, Hubert and Elmer Hall; and three sisters, Ada Cozart, Effie Williams and Edna Mull. Survivors include three sons, Steven Hall, Dennis Hall, and Kevin (Lorrie) Hall all of Scottsburg, Indiana; sister, Laverne Robbins of Lexington, Indiana; twelve grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
