Donna Atkeisson Reynolds 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 9, 2022, at her home. Donna was born on Dec 12, 1940, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Donna is preceded in death by her late husband Gerald Atkeisson, father Truman Jergins, Mother Mary Jergins Womack and son Mike Atkeisson.
The precious memories of Donna will continue to be cherished by her husband Charles Reynolds, her children Karl (Louann) Humphries, Lori (Gilbert) Hippard, and Michael Humphries. Grandchildren, Brandy (Mike) Hurford, Joshua (Lindsay) Brown, Jessica (Joe) Richter, Alexandria (Shane) Howard, John Grady (Mikayla) Hippard, Chris (Sydnee) Humphries, Aaron (Vicky) Humphries. Great Grandchildren, Macon, Kegan, Rhys, Cameron, Lucas, Oliver, Benjamin, Jude, Stone, Wrenley, Jackson, Lenny, and Jac. Charles Children Lori Hickey, Kristy Smallwood, and Scott Reynolds. Donna was loved by everyone she knew and loved them in return. One of her greatest joys was cheering on her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren at sporting events and attending their birthday celebrations. Donna was the best grandma in the world. Her grandchildren's special memory was to try and convince her that they were her favorite.
Donna and Gerald spent 43 years crafting and gardening together, they loved their years of traveling and raising their children.
Donna looked forward to any shopping trip or going out to eat. The last four years on Friday nights was such a joy for her to spend the evening with her husband Charlie and friends were the laughter always flowed. Donna also loved her home and was an amazing homemaker and cook. She enjoyed all of her neighbors and especially the council meetings. Donna spent many hours working in her yard growing beautiful flowers. Donna's beautiful smile and kindness will be deeply missed.
The visitation will be Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 6:00-8:00 PM at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday October 13, 2022, at 11 am at Northside Baptist Church.
